The Brighton-Cramahe Chamber of Commerce nominations for local Business Achievement can now be registered. Nominations for 2018 are being accepted until January 23.
The nominee business must be operating in Brighton or Cramahe. There are a number of award categories to choose from including Innovation, Customer Experience, Local Impact, Agribusiness, Not-for-Profit, Health & Wellness, Environment Practices and New Business of the Year.
“This is an opportunity to recognize your favourite business for the great things they are doing in our communities,” says Chamber Manager, Sherry Hamilton.
Ballot boxes can be found at 10 key locations. The four libraries (Brighton, Colborne, Castleton & Codrington), three local banks (Royal Bank in Brighton and CIBC branches in Brighton & Colborne), both municipal offices (Brighton & Cramahe) as well as the Chamber office in Colborne are all hosting ballot boxes.
Nominations forms can also be found on the Chamber Website, Facebook and Twitter pages.
They can be submitted by email to firstname.lastname@example.org or placed in one of the ten ballot boxes. Local business owners are also encouraged to nominate themselves. They may be doing things worthy of recognition that are not yet public knowledge.
Once nominations are closed on January 23, nominees will be contacted and given an opportunity to complete category specific questions for consideration by an expert panel of judges. This process will decide the winners in each category. An overall Business of the Year Award will be chosen from the list of nominees for each municipality.
